Miralbueno líder de la Liga Norte de Béisbol
Dos partidos seguidos se disputaron el domingo contra el equipo de Irabia en el Campo de Béisbol de Zaragoza. El equipo pamplonica siempre está en las quinielas para ganar la Liga y ocupaba el primer puesto de la clasificación hasta ayer, cuando tras dos victorias en casa, el Miralbueno le arrebataba al Irabia la primera plaza y se acerca más al sueño de la final liguera.
En el primer partido, el equipo lo dio todo en el campo, el juego estuvo muy igualado a lo largo de las 9 entradas en las que ambos equipos se adelantaban en el marcador continuamente. Tras una buena defensa y un buen trabajo de bateo, el Miralbueno conseguía ponerse con 12 carreras frente a las 9 de los visitantes y conseguir la primera victoria del día.
Con los ánimos altos, el segundo partido se comenzó perdiendo de 3 carreras pero enseguida, las ganas de conseguir un día redondo impulsaron al equipo a batear para 8 carreras y retener al Irabia en ataque. Finalmente y tras casi 6 horas de juego en total, el segundo juego finalizó con la victoria que daba el liderato a los maños por 8 a 5.
Gran trabajo de los tres lanzadores que con gran esfuerzo físico lanzaron las 16 entradas del día, Jonathan Castán y Miguel Carnicer como abridores de los partidos y Jorge Lacasa cerrándolos con eficacia. Destacada actuación también de Adony Castillo tanto en defensa como en ataque.
La próxima jornada será el próximo día 8 de Junio a las 17:00 en el Campo de Béisbol Miralbueno de Zaragoza contra el CD Pamplona. Con la victoria el equipo maño se aseguraría un puesto en la final.
