Los días 29, 30 de Abril y 1 de Mayo el equipo Infantil de Miralbueno disputó el Campeonato de España Infantil en Madrid frente a 12 equipos de Cataluña, Valencia Navarra, Asturias y Madrid. El equipo acudía con mucha ilusión y con ganas de hacerlo bien ya que hacía mucho tiempo que no se jugaba en estas categorías a nivel nacional. El torneo salió redondo y los pequeños lograron la 7ª posición mejorando el resultado esperado para esta edición.
En la fase de grupos los rivales a batir fueron Villalbilla y Viladecans para conseguir estar entre los 8 primeros, el objetivo era ganar un partido y se logró nada más llegar al vencer al Villalbilla por 8 a 4. El equipo estaba animado y salió a por todas en el partido contra los Catalanes de Viladecans, se mantuvo el partido muy igualado hasta el final incluso estando por delante en el marcador aunque finalmente no se pudo lograr la victoria y el marcador dejo un ajustado 11 a 7.
Para la segunda jornada esperaban dos difíciles partidos ante Barcelona y Sant Boi, el primero de ellos fue un mal partido con muchos errores en el que el resultado final favorable al Barcelona de 8 a 1 no fue mas que el reflejo de lo que pasó en el campo. Frente al Sant Boi las cosas estuvieron más igualadas ya que se llegó a la última entrada con empate a tres carreras aunque un hit del rival decidió el partido a favor de los catalanes por 4 a 3. Este resultado clasificaba al equipo para jugar para lograr el 7º u 8º puesto general.
Para el último partido la sorpresa fue que había que jugar de nuevo contra el Viladecnas, esta vez el equipo lo dió todo en el campo y con buenos batazos y una grandísima defensa se mantuvo el tipo hasta el final para lograr mejorar el objetivo impuesto y conseguir la 7ª plaza por 2 ajustadas carreras a 1.
Gran actuación de los jugadores más novatos con apenas partidos jugados a sus espaldas, destacados los partidos realizados por los pitchers Diego, Jesús, Lucas, Juan, Pablo y Kleiton, estos tres últimos alevines todos ellos. Lucas López se llevó el MVP por su gran cacheo y su bateo constante en todo el campeonato.
